The fifth-ranked outfit, which has produced solid performances each week, confronts sixth-placed Colac and District tonight.

Last Thursday, Warrnambool and District Yellow rebounded from its hard-fought draw against Port Fairy to demolish Cobden and District Night Netball Association by 19 goals.

Tonight’s round six fixture is favourable for Yellow, as fourth-placed Camperdown Night Netball Association plays unbeaten ladder-leader Hampden Green. If Camperdown stumbles, Yellow will sneak into fourth spot with a win and stamp itself as a genuine finals contender.

In other open matches, Warrnambool and District White will have a tough assignment against Port Fairy Netball Association and Cobden faces South West District.

In 17 and under matches, top side Hampden Green plays third-ranked Warrnambool City, while second-placed Hampden White confronts fourth-placed Colac and District.

The lower-half of the draw will also do battle, with Western Border playing Warrnambool and District and Hampden Red meeting South West District.

Matches start from 6.45pm at the Warrnambool Stadium tonight.
