A CASTERTON man charged with murdering two men in the town on October 4 last year has had his case adjourned until a filing hearing on April 17.

Aaron Jamie Ball, 32, of Russells Street, had his case called in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court.

He has been charged with murdering Casterton’s Ray McCombe and Warrnambool’s Toby Lynch and the attempted murder of Casterton’s Stephen Mark.

Police will allege that on October 4 last year Mr Ball stabbed Mr McCombe, Mr Lynch and Mr Mark after they came to assist Jessie McCombe at Miller Street in Casterton.
